What the hell was up with that episode? It was everywhere and yet nowhere all at the same time. I mean the whole Sylar thing was <333 but it still felt like it fell short. Is this a pattern? Shit ep > Great ep > Shit ep etc? If so, the finale must be one hell of a killer!

Maybe it's cos I was drunk and sleepy when I watched it, but doesn't that usually mean I'll ENJOY something MORE?! I dunno, bb's.

So VM might NOT be cancelled? But the FBI thing is a likely go? Hmm.


Also, great news for once in my family, so big yays! Hopefully things continue to look up cos it's been a shitty couple of years, especially shitty in the past few months.

What else... oh... I am absolutely in love with Young Modern. AGAIN! I just fell back in love with the album once I actually looked at the lyrics (for what was actually the first time) and when I read the words, it amazed me what an amazing songwriter Daniel has grown into - the words are so much more meaningful, and profound. Add his signature vague references and endearing play on words and you've truly got the Chair's masterpiece right there.

Of course, I could be biased because I now realise I relate to all the songs more than I previously though! (The only albums I really related to were the first three, more so for Neon Ballroom, wasn't really that into Diorama though I loved it nonetheless)

But this album is a big triple WOW (that's WOW WOW WOW to you!)

Aw, is Veronica Mars really going to be cancelled? Because I kinda really liked this ep despite all the blatant preachiness.

I was already pissed off/sad/confused about the Virginia Tech tragedy, but tonight I just found out that one of my ex-schoolmates goes to West Virginia University (which uses Virginia Tech as one of its off-site campuses).

The thing is, I don't know whether he was at risk or not during the shooting because according to this article it doesn't list him as one of the five Malaysians who are "safe".

It freaks me out all the same though. I'm glad he's okay. :/

So I was browsing through some old folders a couple of days ago and came across "wallscroll.txt" which was a concept I'd come up with inspired by NIN's The Fragile (song, not album) and thus wanted to make my very first wall scroll.


That was 2 months short of being 3 years ago.


BUT ALAS! I have much time on my hands being jobless and in the middle of a major life-transition that most people who call themselves my friends don't seem to understand/care to understand/they all suck.

WOOO! Where did that come from?! Re-living old Buffy-induced hazy memories has made me one angsty bugger.


Anyway, I set to work to at least finish something I had planned ages ago. So it's a bit shitty since I'm not "in that place" anymore but I like it. I plan to use it as a storyboard for my first (and possibly LAST) fan video one day in the future (i.e. when I buy a Mac and get FCP installed).


Anyway, may I just point out that the wallscroll has a much better impact if it's "read" with the song playing. Like karaoke only not. It helps get the "feel" across to the "viewer" but it's up to you. :)

Sure, I mostly like it because it proves me right on so many of my theories that people shot down. Like the connection between YOUKNOWWHOWITHWHITEHAIR with YOUKNOWWHOWITHBLACKHAIR. Psssht!

I've neglected LiveJournal lots, haven't I? Been spending all my days at my blog instead. Looks like LJ has got some new perks to entice my back though. Don't have anything to update with, really. Just that I finally saw Serenity (it was meant to screen here in Malaysia but the UIP decided not to release it). So I won't get to see it on the big screen which really honest-to-God really really REALLY sucks.

Doesn't make it less of a good watch though.


BAHAHAHAHA Spoon just pointed out to me that Eleven: A music company numbers all their releases, so one could get the "entire set" so to speak. Like I have ICBINR, which is the very first one they put out, and I have Diorama, Disso's and Paul Mac etc. We were looking at the numbers, and then Spoon wondered if the DVDs had numbers too, and THEY DO!!!

In fact, even the free DVD that came with the Disso's album has a number. And that's a RARE DVD because it was this whole "limited: while stocks last!" thing where you got it free with the album. So we were like "People are gonna be all "omg I don't have #24 where's 24 what's 24 omggggg!!!!"" and we'll be like "HAHAHAHA SUCKERS I HAVE IT RIGHT HERE IT'S RIGHT AFTER THE ALBUM AND RIGHT BEFORE 'you ain't better than teh ressStt'!!!!!!!!!"

Bwaahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahaahhahaa

It's just as well we love all the artists that are on the Eleven label. I shouldn't have given Marilyn my Little Birdy EP, then at least I'd have one less CD needed to complete the collection. <33333333333333333333333333333333
